Reporting to the Program Director, you will be responsible for the pilot work scope associated program leadership and management to ensure the successful design, development, integration, and delivery of work scope for the pilot program and to contribute to its overall successful program execution. This includes the planning, implementation and management of project deliverables (configuration and data management), the definition collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources) the management of any additional allocated work scope and resources, and the identification of issues and risks.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the scope for the pilot program is delivered in accordance with contemporary Program Management Best Practices.
- Lead and manage the program scope within the combined pilot Australian and US teams.
- Ensure program technical compliance, schedule and earned value in accordance with program requirements.
- Deliver comprehensive plans and supporting artefacts to ensure program success.
- Planning, implemention and management of project deliverables by:
- - Defining project deliverable lists,
- - Allocation of resoruces to deliverables,
- - Reporting and status of deliverables,
- - Configuration management of program deliverables,
- - Overall program data management,
- - Quality and consistency of deliverables through process implementation and reviews,
- - Delivery of deliverable artefacts to the customer.
- Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources):
- Definition of key project metrics in consultation with the broader program team,
- Identification of risks and issues through review of program performance.
- Lead and manage the allocated program scope, ensuring successful execution of the allocated program scope under the pilot program.
- Maintain and develop high quality relationships with management, the leadership team and staff of Honeywell, key government stakeholders, other supplies and sub-contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of programs outcomes.
- Support the Technology Transfer of relevant program deliverables including the transitioning of the product responsibility for the Nuclear Enterprise Assurance (NEA) process.
- Support the development of product roadmaps, support the overall project marketing approach for the SIB uplift through integration of market and customer intelligence into planned program deliverables and marketing campaigns.
- Proven (10+ years) experience in Project Management
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
- Substantial experience in managing complex projects and project resources including subcontractors and multiple service providers using PM methodologies in a variety of environments, along with demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of systems/products, where these may be complex in nature
- Have excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology;
- Must currently hold at least NV2 Australian Security Clearance; and
- Must have Australian citizenship.
- Experience in military or aerospace system design;
- Experience working on ASDEFCON programs;
- Experience in interpreting complex project performance specifications; and
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required.
