Senior Project Coordinator - Fixed Term 18 Month Contract

This opportunity

This role is an 18 month fixed term contract, coordinating the execution and delivery of project schedules, supporting on time project requirements, while keeping to TPG Telecom’s high quality management practices.

You will coordinate state, area or national based projects and their teams, track budgets, dates, and other information, and collate and compile reports from various group leaders. You will also manage various stakeholders including their calendars and perform administrative duties (maintain schedules, trackers).

 Responsibilities

• Supporting development of project objectives by coordinating reviews of project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
• Draft, refine and provide input into all project engineering, design, and construction management plans.
• Support the Team Leaders and Project Management Team to coordinate technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Coordinate design and construction work on projects to ensure they meet contractual obligations.
• Compile information for input into project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Support the supply chain, Network Engineering and MTX management teams, and site or Vendor teams to ensure that deployed components conform to delivery requirements.
• Support the teams during Technology Centres’ exits.
• Review and be familiar with TPG Telecom and vendor requirements and support the site QA team to ensure that required deliverables are as not to void warranties.
• Support coordination with vendors and Project Management teams/individuals for in-field design changes.
• Support TPG Telecom’s Procurement Team in the resolution of complex problems with suppliers, and internal clients.
• Support the WHSEQ team to maintain TPG Telecom’s high project site safety standards. Ensure that safety documentation is updated and in date.
• Support the engineering and construction management team for design or construction related resolutions of differences or problems. Coordinate the review process of all portions of the project.

 Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Telco environment preferred but not essential)
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite of tools, including Excel
• Excellent communicator
• Great interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Team-coordination
• Ability to prioritise competing time demands
• Proven performance in technically, legally or environmentally complex projects
• Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team as well as a collaborative approach toward stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
