The opportunity
The Senior Project Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of IT initiatives (which may be delivered using either traditional or agile based approaches) that form part of the BTS Program of Works.
Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio and Enablement, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and driving the implementation of initiatives within the BTS Program of Works to agreed levels of delivery scope, product quality, cost and timing
- Schedule Project Control Broad meetings-provide Projects briefs, Project plans, status reports
- Work closely with Portfolio Accountant, Resource Lead and Delivery teams
- Support Agile Teams as required ensuring delivery ceremonies and events occur
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods, collaboration and delivered solutions
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive industry experience in leading and managing significant IT project implementations
- Experience in both traditional and Agile project management
- Highly developed leadership and people management skills to ensure project objectives are met
- Proven strong communication and negotiation skills to initiate and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- The required mandatory qualification i.e. Recognised Agile delivery accreditation, preferably SAFe based.
