Primarily responsible for managing the procurement of EPCM site office compound facilities. Additionally, will also manage a miscellaneous site contract to install the facilities, do minor earthworks and concrete, and any other pieces required to support the main construction contracts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve problems including minimizing risk and delay.
- Ensure the project deliverables and documentation meet client requirements and the specified engineering standards.
- Identify potential problems, risks, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement project controls, specifications, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide contract management including identifying & claiming variations, extensions of time, and other contractual entitlements.
- safely conduct work and ensure the works are constructed following safety.
- Monitor and expedite procurement activities for contracts.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Engineering.
- Experience working in an EPCM and major mining project environments.
- Strong experience in areas such as NPI, and mining infrastructure.
- Ability to execute effective leadership and direction to the project team as required.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and undertakes tasks with diligence and attention to the necessary detail.
- Must be willing to mobilize to the site in 2025 and support the project at site capacity.
