Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this full-time role will involve:
- Managing and delivering offshore projects:
- Client interface and collaboration;
- Assisting in the preparation of project estimates;
- Preparing project documentation;
- Ensuring projects are delivered within approved cost, by monitoring and controlling spend;
- Demonstrating effective leadership and giving direction to engineering teams;
- Managing projects offshore;
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties, both onshore and offshore;
- Ensuring compliance with all of AME’s policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:
- An Engineering degree (Ocean/Petroleum/Mechanical) with 5+ years' experience;
- Experience in managing medium-sized design projects;
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team;
- Oil and gas/ offshore experience preferred;
- Experience in subsea engineering/ drilling and completions;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
- Be prepared for both local and international work travel;
- Right to work in Australia is essential. Applications without appropriate working rights are automatically rejected.
