Exciting things are happening at Catholic Healthcare! We’ve grown to 5000+ employees and we’ll be celebrating our 30th year in 2024. You won’t be managing the celebrations, but you will be managing multiple projects including implementation of our new HRIS and other significant projects.
Reporting to the Senior Manager EPMO, you will play an integral part in ensuring the end-to-end delivery of enterprise and strategic projects utilising best practice methodologies, policies, and processes, delivering on time, in scope and budget.
Your ability to engage the project’s sponsor, build and maintain strong trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, manage expectations and identify opportunities for improvement, will be instrumental to your success. Your tenacious and proactive approach together with your professional manner and passion for providing high quality support and guidance to your stakeholders will be recognised and valued.
In your new role you will:
- Manage projects utilising best practice methodology, policies, and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodology and practices
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including project team, project vendors, SME's
- Develop project documentation including Project Management Plans, incorporating Integration, Data Migration and Change Management Plans
- Manage progress against scope, timeline, budget, risk
- Manage project related vendors to ensure the provision of services as per agreements
- Conduct ongoing health checks to ensure the project continues to meet overall objectives
- Regular status reporting and dashboard maintenance
- Work closely with Project Sponsor to appropriately promote and celebrate key project milestones
The successful candidate will be highly organised and structured in their approach, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders, in addition to the following:
- Completion of Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, IT, Business or similar
- Project Management Certification - desirable.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience as a career PM in a similar project management role
- Aged Care/ Healthcare or related industry experience – Highly desirable
- Experience in Agile & Waterfall methodologies with the ability to apply best fit
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large-scale IT/ Tech system projects - Essential
- Strong project, change and budget management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and deliver results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications including MS Project
- Must be able to provide Covid-19 immunisation evidence
