About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager will manage construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and budget. This role will liaise with clients to deliver successful project outcomes, understand the implications of key contractual negotiations, and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and drive better project and contractual outcomes.
We're looking for someone who can easily navigate the complexities of large-scale projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are surpassed and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute projects in accordance with Australian and New Zealand Standard Construction contracts AZ/NZ4000, AZ/NZ2124, NZ3910, NZ3916
- Manage large and complex projects to the satisfaction of our clients - within agreed time, budget, safety and quality standards
- Manage the overall program of works to maximise efficiencies in production, delivery, crew optimisation, contractual obligations and cash flow
- Ensure risk management processes are effective in identifying and mitigating project challenges
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication to achieve the required outcome
- Ensure the project documentation and file management are efficiently managed in accordance with the company's high standards
About You:
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Contracts Administration
- Minimum 10 years of relevant Engineering Construction /Contracts Management experience within the construction industry
- Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering large-scale and complex projects in Australia
- Proven ability to concurrently manage a number of different projects on time, on budget and to client satisfaction
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Display outstanding attention to detail, effective time management, and organisational abilities
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Superior negotiation abilities
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of work and ethics
- Ability to travel (including interstate) to Client’s sites when required
