- Be at the forefront of decision-making and strategy implementation from the outset of the project,
- Apply your knowledge of the local market and leverage your established network to ensure a smooth project execution,
- Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the project, from feasibility studies through to commissioning and handover,
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure project objectives are met.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of project activities.
- Monitor project progress and performance against key milestones, identifying and addressing any deviations or risks.
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Drive a culture of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in related technical fields such as engineering or construction.
- Minimum 10-15 years in project management experience with a background in mineral processing
- Strong commercial ability and contractual experience.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
