About the role
The Senior Project Manager will work with our clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, defining project timelines, as well as managing risks and resolving issues as they arise.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for:
Working with Novigi clients to ensure the successful delivery of their projects within a specified deadline and budget. Duties will include:
- Development of project and program plans.
- Facilitation of requirements workshops.
- Measurement of project performance using appropriate project management frameworks.
- Analysis of project progress, and, where necessary, adjusting scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements.
- Identification and analysis of risks and implementation of mitigation strategies as appropriate.
- Execution of project governance processes.
- Stakeholder engagement and management.
- Maintaining project documentation.
- The role is based in Melbourne, Sydney or Wollongong.
Education and Experience
- Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science or other relevant area of study.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management.
- Experience with project management and software development methodologies.
- Experience managing projects in the Superannuation industry is mandatory. Project management certification is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous experience working in a project delivery environment.
- Commercial acumen including experience developing business cases.
- Experience with working with C-Suite executive level.
- Experience managing business systems analysis and test teams.
- Experience working with software and UX teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to present to stakeholders and communicate complex issues in simple terms.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both autonomously and collaboratively.
