Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.The role Reporting to
the ICT Planning and Delivery Coordinator, we are seeking an ICT Senior Project
Manager who can bring their skills and experience to:
Take full responsibility for the definition,
approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of large to
medium-scale projects (typically with direct business impact and firm
deadlines).
Create the business readiness plan, taking
into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment
(training and engagement activities) and any business activities required
to integrate new digital processes or jobs into the 'business as usual'
environment.
Contribute to selecting the requirements
approach for projects, appropriately choosing from predictive
(plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
To be considered you will have:
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or
related technology/ICT disciple, as well as relevant experience related to
project management or through a less formal qualification together with
extensive and diverse experience.
Qualifications in PMBOK, PMP (or similar)
project management certification and ITIL certification.
Proven track record managing large, complex
ICT projects in Agile, Waterfall and related methods, successfully
delivering projects on time and budget
At least 5 years' experience in ICT Project
Management.
Local government experience is desirable
