Senior Project Officer - Full Time, Fixed Term Until 30/06/2026
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development of a significant program of reform and service delivery. The role will work across a range of strategic initiatives and program improvements, with a focus on ensuring data and evidence is at the heart of the changes. This will involve leadership in forming and implementing a cross-cutting data strategy, working closely with the analytical community and external stakeholders to optimise use of existing data and plan to mitigate data gaps. The successful candidate will work to embed data and evidence into strategic, policy and program delivery decisions and build capability across the team.
Key duties include:
- Ensuring evidence, data and insights are embedded into policy design and program delivery, across strategic reform and delivery improvements
- Working with the internal analytical community and internal and external stakeholders to optimise the sourcing and application of evidence, insights and data
- Project management
- Building capability within the team around use of data, evidence and insights
Applicants should possess strong data analysis and written skills, as well as an ability to apply big picture strategic thinking to detailed analytical work.
