Job Context
Immunoglobulin Governance team in the NBA supports governments, health services and health care professionals to improve patient outcomes through the appropriate utilisation of blood and blood products and in particular immunoglobulin (Ig).
The Immunoglobulin Governance Program is responsible for ensuring that Australians have appropriate access to Ig therapy to treat a range of clinical conditions in accordance with agreed national arrangements and based on expert clinical advice. The governance framework involves IT systems, policy and the information which identifies the conditions and circumstances for which the use of Ig products is clinically appropriate.
The role of Senior Project Officer is to manage projects related to the development and review of governance arrangements for Ig products. Your work will include activities relating to the clinical aspects of access to Ig products, communication activities and stakeholder management. The work is dynamic and interesting, one day is rarely the same as the next.

Primary Job Purpose
Although not exhaustive, the duties and responsibilities of this position will require you to:
- Manage projects, programs, and contracts in accordance with the objectives of the National Blood Agreement and government policies.
- Undertake detailed analysis of published research, reports and other information and formulate recommendations.
- Prepare high quality papers, minutes, presentations, and correspondence.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to implement the NBA's strategies and various projects.
- Work in a collaborative manner as a member of a team and assist in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members and implementing organisational change.
- Undertake other duties as required including managing human and financial resources, procurement and contract management activities.
- Contribute to the NBA organisational strategy and promote a collaborative workplace culture.
