An exciting opportunity exists to join the Virtual learning team as a Senior Project Officer supporting the development of the on-demand learning pilot resources.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the production of high quality on-demand video resources to support “out-of-subject area” teachers with delivery of the curriculum.

About the Role:
The Senior Project Officer will play a key role in working with key curriculum experts, video production personnel and quality assurance staff across a number of teams within Digital and Virtual Learning to create learning episodes, teaching resources and experiences in a range of formats to support teaching and learning in a range of focus curriculum areas.
What you need to succeed:
We are seeking a creative person with proven skills and knowledge in film content production and delivery of a high profile and dynamic Virtual Learning project. Successful candidates will have experience in film production or the capability to acquire skills and knowledge in this area and a proven capability in supporting a system priority and strategic project.
The Senior Project Officer will:
- participate in a project team to develop instructional video content related to implementation of the learning areas of the Australian Curriculum;
- contribute to briefing materials, submissions, papers, reports and correspondence;
- build positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and
- undertake other duties as required to enable unit objectives to be achieved.
A capability to support resource production process within the on-demand learning project, including:
- knowledge of video production including technical knowledge of the pre-to-post production cycle;
- ability to develop written submissions, briefing notes, correspondence and other materials on current and emerging issues in support of departmental staff and senior executives;
- knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the department's strategic plans and policies, including Equity & Excellence;
- high-level written, spoken and digital communication skills;
- an interest in working with talent and curriculum writers to develop engaging instructional video content;
- experience working on complex projects to achieve required outcomes within set timeframes and on budget; and passion for organisation and attention to detail.
