Senior Property Manager / Asset Manager

Generous $6-Figure Salary + STI’s Institutional investment office A business & team you will be incredibly proud to work with Centrally located, CBD Office Great aspirational role with coaching Our Client: Our client is the property investment platform responsible for the strategic performance and management of one of Australia’s top-performing superannuation funds’ directly owned property portfolio. With circa $2bn under management and a significant BTR development pipeline, they seek to set new benchmarks for quality, sustainability and community outcomes. A newly formed department internally, this is a small team in serious scale-up mode. They are a positive force, led by bold and highly experienced leadership, and are set to make an incredible impact. The Role: This is a pivotal, newly formed role where you will lead and direct outsourced property and facilities managers on a national portfolio of circa 500 apartments across 8 locations with some responsibilities including: Provide leadership in Asset Management - timely reporting, budgeting, cost management, valuation management, arrears, vacancy management, WHS, compliance and risk management Maintain positive relationships with Owners Corporations and Strata Managers, guiding best in class decision making Keeping abreast of all market conditions to enable ongoing strategic assessment of all assets to steer hold / sell decisions Provide input and intel internally to support transaction and development decisions Act at all times to ensure highest profitability across the portfolio whilst delivering best value to the community About You: To be awarded this role you will operate from authenticity, and be conscious that your success in this role affects members of this Superannuation Fund. You will also have: Residential property management experience (preferably with an institution, family office or corporate Real Estate group) Qualification in property, finance, or related field An understanding of the operations of an Owners Corporation and Strata Management Demonstrated ability to resolve complex property management, leasing, and valuation issues A passion for ESG and implementing initiatives to enhance asset performance and the occupiers' experience Strength in MS Excel (and modelling will be highly regarded but can be mentored) Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration, and a NSW Drivers Licence As our client is seeking someone still in the growth phase of their career, you will likely come with 5 – 10 years of experience in Residential management Benefits: Centrally located, CBD Office with end-of-trip facilities Gender-balanced, high-performance team High-purpose, community-focused business Unparalleled access to CEO and Senior Management team Annual budget for individual Professional Learning & Development Team set to double in 6-months, so exciting growth / career opportunities Applications will be received in strict confidence and CV's will NOT be forwarded to the client without us liaising with you prior.
