Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets within the Sydney metro area.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and achieve sales objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with clients, particularly schools and councils.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for landscape construction, retaining walls, and sports field construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections and measurements as required to ensure accurate project assessments.
- Utilize our job management software, Ascora, to streamline processes and track project progress effectively.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the Sydney metro market.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the landscaping or sports facility industry.
- Civil construction experience mandatory (sales / tendering).
- Strong network and experience working with school and council clients is highly preferable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using job management software, preferably Ascora.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction, or related field.
