As a Senior Ranger in the Coastal and Islands Region, you'll play a crucial role in preserving Queensland's diverse coastal landscapes. Your responsibilities include leading a dispersed team, fostering stakeholder relationships, providing public education on conservation, managing emergency response and compliance operations, and overseeing budgets and infrastructure projects.
What We're Looking For:
- Organisational Navigator: Contribute to organizational goals, priorities, and decision-making. Determine work priorities with consideration for the wider context and external factors.- Resourceful Leader: Take responsibility for planning and managing programs, projects, and operational outcomes. Understanding of workplace health and safety, compliance, and emergency response. Knowledge of the systems, policies, and procedures supporting human resource and financial management standards.
