Make your career as a Senior Ranger with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, located on North Stradbroke Island on Brisbane’s bayside!
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Ranger to lead maritime operations in a very busy multi-use marine park that is Moreton Bay Marine Park. As a marine ranger working on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) you will be caring for Quandamooka sea country.
We seek individuals who can bridge the gap between Quandamooka people and sea country, ensuring the protection of sacred sites and the passing down of traditional ecological knowledge to future generations. One day you’ll be educating users of the marine park and mentoring rangers on compliance, the next you are responding to a live marine mammal stranding in a remote location with only vessel access and the next you will be providing ministerial advice on marine park matters.
