The Senior Relationship Manager is critical to making this happen and key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Develop, maintain and grow a portfolio of larger-scale and more complex Commercial clients, promoting sustainable long-term client relationships
Proactively seek to enhance relationship with networks and customers to foster collaboration, seek new business opportunities and strengthen ANZ’s profile across the region
Role model good customer outcomes and make banking easier for customers by understanding their needs and developing insightful, tailored solutions
Provide ongoing leadership, coaching support, and development for Relationship Associates and other staff across the Wellington teams

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A successful track record in customer relationship and risk management, particularly in dealings with medium to large scale Commercial businesses over a period of time
Proven strong business development capability and experience with building broad community networks
An extensive network and key commercial connections across the region
Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in effective coaching, able to support others through change and adapt to new environments or ways of working
Sound communication skills that adapt style for audience and build proposals that meet customer needs, combining technical skills with confidence in discussions
Proven sound financial analysis and decision-making skills
