We’re currently searching for a Senior Retail Territory Specialist to lead our Field Sales team across QLD, while also managing your own territory of retailers - a core role in helping to achieve our sales objectives and profit targets in the marketplace for all product categories.
Your previous experience in leading, developing and engaging teams, thorough understanding of the retail environment, and exceptional stakeholder & relationship building skills will be key to your success in this role. Ideally you will be Brisbane based, and some travel will be required.
About the role
- Leading a team of 5 Retail Territory & Retail Installation Specialists across QLD
- Managing and negotiating retailer floor space and local marketing activities, ensuring to align with business unit directives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail store managers and franchisees
- Managing team call cycles and reports to maximize store coverage
- Participating in all state-based retailer meetings and conferences where required
- Implementing in-store marketing and visual merchandising that engages customers and stimulates sales
- Conducting in-store and on-line training with staff members to inspire & educate on the brand - this will require flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the retailer
- Integrating product group messaging and sales strategies through selected territory dealer bases for key consumer product categories
About you
- Prior experience managing a remote team
- Excited by technology and passionate about Sony products
- Exceptional communication & stakeholder management skills
- Keen ability to see what is possible with in-store promotions and merchandise activities
- Excellent organisational & administrative skills and attention to detail
- A strong sales focus, including an understanding of the importance of in-store training
- Sound product/service knowledge
- Must have own drivers’ licence and ability to travel
