They are now looking for a Senior Developer to join the digital team to deliver unique and exciting web based products. You will be part of a well-established team. As a Senior Developer you will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the Rails framework and Ruby Development. You will also need to be a confident, designing and developing high-quality, scalable APIs and backend services.
The Role
- High level experience developing software for award winning product to achieve quality, budget and schedule outcomes.
- Documentation of user/business requirements specifications
- Functional specification and high level design documents from business requirements
- Code from program specifications for Ruby, JavaScript and Android applications.
- Unit testing – including planning, documentation, and execution of a test for a unit of work
- Systems & Integration Testing – Following a test plan, execute the plan, identifying and logging issues
- On-going support.
Experience Required
- Solid experience developing Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (Angular.JS) applications.
- TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Working within an Agile environment
- Experience across a variety of other programming languages such as .Net, C#, Java , JS, HTML5/CSS/and Mobile
- CoffeeScript, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Solid experience working in an agile based delivery model.
- Confident communication and ability to work in a small team.
- Evidence of leadership/Mentoring Juniors desirable
