The CompanyEstablished over 35 years ago our client is an accredited, award winning building contractor who has delivered individual projects in excess of $200m. Working across residential, commercial, aged care, industrial, and education, they focus on building collaborative teams with their employees and sub contractors. This focus has seen them deliver projects successfully for their clients on time and within budget.
The Role
They are seeking to employ an experienced Construction Safety Advisor on a permanent basis with the the following skills and experience.
- Minimum Cert IV in OHS
- Proven experience in safety in building construction is a must
- Stable work history with head contractor is a must
- 5 plus years in pure safety roles
- Facilitate pre starts and toolbox meetings
- Ran inductions
- Strong ability to manage systems and processes
- Accident investigations
- Maintain site documentation
- Site observations and safety meetings
- Strong ability to foresee risk
- Hands on approach with a can do attitude
- Experience working in safety in Australia
- Above average communications skills both verbal and written
- Motivated and driven
