AddressThe Data Migration Specialist will collaborate closely with the Delivery Lead within the Enterprise Asset Management Functional Services team, as well as Product Owners, Functional Specialists, and Subject Matter Experts from the business, to ensure effective design, build, and testing cycles across sprints within the delivery team.
This position will offer guidance and assistance to fellow Data Migration Specialists within the team in adopting agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient coordination and alignment of Data Migration tasks and solutions according to an agreed-upon schedule.
- Address Data Migration challenges associated with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes from legacy systems to the new SAP S/4HANA & MDG systems, leveraging deep functional understanding of SAP to ensure accurate data representation.
- Create, update, and oversee various data-related documents necessary for program delivery, including migration design documents, build plans, and conversion activities.
- Lead efforts in managing data defects arising from migration activities, conducting root cause analyses by comparing source and target data to identify appropriate remediation actions or solutions.
- Experience in migrating legacy data into SAP, particularly in Preventative Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management modules.
- Expertise involves overseeing trial conversions, data cleansing, mapping, data reconciliation, and activities related to data resolution.
- Experience in managing the entire Data Migration process from start to finish, encompassing all related steps and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, senior management, and members of project teams.
