About the Role
The purpose of this role is to lead the technical development of S4 Hana software solutions from design, development, test to implementation.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Senior SAP Technical and Functional Specialistyou will:
- Lead the SAP technical development of system integration for iCare’s S4 Hana Finance system.
- Lead the SAP technical development to create, modify and maintain integrations related to the Accounts Payable and Banking function.
- Provide SAP Technical and Functional expert advice and solution design to ensure that specifications are aligned to business requirements.
- Develop S4 Hana integrations ensuring that they are properly designed, configured, developed, tested and implemented.
- Execute basic financial business processes in SAP and reconcile results to expected outcomes.
- Responsible to resolve defects; ensuring defect life cycle is followed.
- Responsible to implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks and resolve issues.
- Provide technical advice to the Finance System Operations team members in managing operational issues.
- Ensure all developments are documented and appropriate training/handover is provided to the Finance Systems Operations team.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline without compromising quality
- Expertise in system development lifecycle process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong experience with S4Hana Finance development including Fiori
- Experience with Success Factors and Concur integration.
- SAP Hanna integrations specialist with SAP SAC products.
- Comfortable to cover both hands on and strategic facets of the technical function
- 8+ years SAP ABAP experience including S4Hana and Fiori.
- Functional SAP experience including S4Hana Finance and Fiori.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in Financial Systems in the financial services or insurance industry preferred
