Job Overview:

The Senior Structural Draftsman will support the existing drafting team on both existing and upcoming projects.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Diploma or other Technical Qualification or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-5 yrs of engineering drafting/design experience in the Offshore and Subsea Oil & Gas Industry or Onshore Petrochem. or mining industries.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

• AutoCAD 2D & 3D - Proficient user (minimum)
• Inventor &/or Solidworks - would be highly regarded
• Outlook, Excel, Adobe Reader - Proficient user.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Complete drafting requests in a timely manner & of a standard in line with project &

• company expectations.

• Requests may consist of, but not limited to, the following types of drawings:

• Installation Aids

• Crane Lift Charts

• Vessel & Barge Deck Layouts

• Procedural Storyboards

• Vessel & Barge Seafastening

• Field Layouts

• Rigging Arrangements

• Alignment Sheets

• Ensure the drafting & design review process is followed.

• Accurately manage & maintain electronic and hard copy filing throughout the life of drawings.

• Build and maintain sound working relationships with all project personnel.

• Positively contribute to improving existing processes.

• Any other duties that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis.
