Position Description
- Our client's Gold Coast (Southport) office now has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer with significant design experience, solid communication skills and the desire to lead and mentor other engineers within the group. This is a pivotal role supporting the Structures Team Lead to manage projects, delegate workload and interface with key clients.

Required Qualifications and Capabilities
Only applicants with the following proven experience and capabilities should apply:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated design experience at a senior level (or ready for the next step up)
- A strong understanding of current construction practices and their impact on design
- Minimum 6 years industry experience
- An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
- A good understanding of geotechnical and basement walls/retention
- (Ideally) experience in writing tenders and proposals
- CPEng and RPEQ qualified (or working to attain this)
- Membership of Engineers Australia
