Role: Senior Systems Engineer Location: Adelaide, SA Salary:$120,000 - 160,000 + Super + Bonus Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer ready to take on new challenges and lead innovation? We're seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in crafting cutting-edge technical solutions. Responsibilities for this position encompass: Defining, executing, and overseeing the trajectory of system engineering within projects by formulating and applying comprehensive management strategies. Upholding a client-focused approach by spearheading product validation techniques and ensuring active client involvement in technical endeavors. Devising strategies and supervising the delivery of top-notch, compliant commercial systems solutions. Crafting product architecture and outlining system-level requirements. Serving as the linchpin across mechanical, electronic, and software interfaces. Assuming responsibility for risk management plans, conducting product hazard risk assessments, FMEA, and ensuring verification traceability of requirements. Formulating and executing test plans for functional testing and reliability assessments. Nurturing relationships and offering technical guidance to external design partners and suppliers. Generating regulatory submission-ready design documents. Contributing to the formulation of development program project schedules and budgets. Maintaining adherence to engineering standards encompassing quality, cost, safety, timeliness, and performance. Ensuring compliance with and elevating engineering quality systems. Collaborating with clients, manufacturing teams, and stakeholders to drive solutions centered on customer needs. Supervising configuration management of design outputs and adhering to change management processes. Candidates for this role should ideally have some of the following: A minimum of 5 years' experience in Systems Engineering. Proficiency in Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management. Experience in crafting and executing Systems Engineering artifacts, including Systems Engineering Management Plan and Verification and Validation Plan. Proven track record in technical troubleshooting. Experience in gathering, analyzing, and conveying client requirements within a cross-disciplinary technical environment. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with personnel from diverse backgrounds and at various organizational levels. Ability to contribute effectively within a cross-functional team. Additionally, experience in risk management, encompassing FMEA and PHRA, will be highly valued.
