As a Senior Technical Analyst specialising in Oracle Reporting, custom application support and development, and Oracle Integration, you will play a pivotal role within our Oracle Support Team.
You will ensure integrity, availability, and security of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) / Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) Reports, custom applications and Integrations with relevant security standards and guidelines.
What will you be involved in:
- Manage the day-to-day technical operations of Oracle system and associated platforms
- Ensure integrity, availability, and security of Oracle Reports, custom applications, and integrations
- Manage and provide technical support to Oracle OTBI / BIP Reports, custom Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications and integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OIC)
- Design and develop custom reports using OTBI / BIP and other relevant tools, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, usability, and with appropriate security and access controls
- Manage support requests, escalating to support providers and vendors when required
- Identify and document platform and system integration components for recording in the configuration management system
- Plan and drive activities to strengthen organisational capability within reporting, custom-built applications, and integrations
- Identify, evaluate, and manage the adoption of tools, techniques, and processes to create a robust reporting and integration framework
- Assess risks and take preventative action
- Measure and monitor application standards
- Assist the Oracle Platform Lead with strategic planning
What we would like from you:
- 7+ years' experience as Oracle Technical Analyst with strong understanding of ERP systems and concepts
- Extensive experience working with Oracle systems, particularly in OTBI / BIP and custom application development.
- Proficiency in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Fusion Middleware
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with PaaS services such as OAC, DBCS, and OIC (ICS, VBCS, PCS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions within defined timelines
