About your new role
This is an integral role within the People and Culture Directorate. You'll enjoy a varied and busy day as you maintain a range of complex and confidential tasks. Your focus will be to provide timely and professional administrative support and coordination of organisational tasks to ensure the efficient running of the directorate office.
This role can be based within NSW as a fully remote role, however there may be occasional travel required to the Sydney CBD office.
This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires professionalism, interpersonal skills, energy and attention to detail. You will also assist the Executive Officer, to track and monitor directorate activities and assist with project management and directorate wide organisational tasks.
The day to day
- Manage complex and changing diaries, including variable scheduling and coordination of meetings
- Effectively and efficiently manage the logistical arrangements for key meetings and ensure functions are coordinated and productive
- Professional presentation and preparation of all documentation, communications (both written and verbal) and materials
- Undertake research and collate relevant material required for external meetings
- Effective coordination of travel arrangements and reconciliation of monthly corporate credit card expenses
What you will need
- Demonstrated Senior Team Administrator experience including project coordination, and working with senior executives
- High-level written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively, confidentially and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to focus on tasks, adapt existing skills to new situations, solve problems, and show commitment to deliver on time.
- A passion for policies and processes
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills - Word, Excel and PowerPoint - SharePoint experience highly desirable
