Our Queensland State Government client is seeking an exceptional and experienced Senior Technical Officer, to join their IT branch and provide high quality IT support to members of the department.
About the Role
- Work within a Microsoft environment to provide operational support both on-site and remotely.
- Using your advanced ICT experience, configure, install, monitor, and support all aspects of the branch's ICT environment and equipment.
- Using your extensive knowledge of ICT programs and equipment, provide training to members of the department and relevant end users.
- Work to efficiently triage technical issues and ensure that they are escalated and resolved within a timely manner.
- Ensure all relevant ICT documentation is developed and maintained in accordance with the department's policies and procedures.
About You
- Proven experience in managing, configuring and installing ICT equipment within advanced ICT environments.
- Exceptional communication skills allowing for the effective management of client ICT queries and tickets.
- Experience working within defined Service Level Agreements and meeting set expectations.
- Ability to extend your industry experience and technical expertise to the mentoring of junior staff within the IT branch of the department.
- Ability to quickly learn new programs and softwares, including ServiceNow and ITIL Service Management.
