Seeking an Senior Technology Officer AO4 to join the Digital Infrastructure Services team on a fixed term temporary full-time basis until 21 March 2025 to provide support and advice to maintain defined enterprise service levels in one or more technology domains.
The role:
You will be required to provide high quality support, adhering to department standards, policies, procedures and ITSM processes in order to maintain define enterprise service levels.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assist management in decision making by providing sound oral and written advice including technical reports and specifications and trend analysis within the Information Division.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) are achieved by performing incident management and system implementation.
- Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch.
Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management.
- High level understanding in the following:
- Microsoft Excel
- Development and maintenance of the inventory as related to telecommunication expense management systems (TEMS).
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team.
- Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Understanding of telecommunication data, voice, and mobile services vendor offerings to enable formulation of recommendations for improvements.
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and the ability to provide advice on current voice, mobile data telecommunication vendor offerings, preferably in relation to Enterprise and Government or Whole of Government SOA's.
- Knowledge of telecommunication products and services and the ability to use this knowledge to accurately update and maintain a TEMS inventory, based on authorised service requests.
- Experience in ITIL and the ability to respond to telecommunication service-desk requests preferably in ServiceNow.
