The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is looking for a Senior Enterprise Technology Group Support (ETG) Officer to join our supportive, friendly, and collaborative Enterprise Technology Group team.
This role can be based in either our Brisbane or Sydney location.
This position can be appointed on an ongoing basis or for a period of up to 12 months.
Remuneration: The salary range for the position is APS5: $82,616 - $87,608 p.a., plus a generous employer contribution of 15.4% superannuation applies.
About the opportunity:
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) are looking for Level 1 & 2 desktop engineers seeking to develop their careers.
The Senior Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) Support Officer is responsible for providing high quality, responsive and timely 1st and 2nd level IT support to members and staff.
This position covers Service Desk duties as well as Desktop Support duties. The role will assist the Team Leader to manage the Service Desk, and ensure ITIL processes are followed, especially with regard to incident management and the communication of solutions and technical knowledge.
The ETG has a clear pathway into other IT teams such as Cyber Security, Network and Systems Administration/Engineering, Application Development and Support as well as Project Management, providing the successful applicants with a genuine opportunity to progress their careers in a government agency.
The role is expected to act as an escalation point for complex enquiries, and the development of subject matter.
About you:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience managing and operating service desk functions.
- Demonstrated ability at coordinating responses to incident reports, ensuring incidents are investigated accordingly.
- Demonstrated experience providing problem fixes and remedies.
- Experience Installing and Testing systems or system components.
- A strong ability and willingness to adapt to change.
- A track record of delivering against set timeframes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ideally you will have an ITIL Framework Certification and a vocational certification in Microsoft Technology.
Position Eligibility Requirements:
The AAT requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.
All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and health assessment.
