Comcare has an Ongoing Vacancy for an APS6 Senior Test Analyst in the Technology and Information Management Team in Canberra.
A merit pool will be created and may be used to fill similar Ongoing and Non-Ongoing vacancies.
Overview of the Team and Role
The Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team maintain Comcare’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions and advice for the effective management of information and IT systems.
The Applications Development unit is part of TAIM and is responsible for the development, quality assurance, support and maintenance of several core business applications and software products, both in-house and third-party developed. The unit also participates and contributes to the incident, problem, change and release management processes to ensure consistent, reliable, and continued business operations.
The Senior Test Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle resulting in proactive and continuous engagement of various stakeholders which may include, but not limited to, Business Representatives, Subject Matter Experts, Application Developers, Business Analysts, Application Support and Operations teams.
The Senior Test Analyst will lead, participate and assist with various testing activities and phases including coordination and promotion of software builds through test environments and Production.
Qualifications/Experience
Mandatory - Minimum 5 years' software testing experience
Desirable - Technical testing experience will be an advantage.
Specific Conditions of Employment
Would require working outside of normal business hours to support planned releases.
