About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Project Cargo (Oceania), you will be monitoring all aspects of the Project Cargo division performance, including bookings, liftings and revenues on a per sailing basis and to ensure that performance is in accordance with the agreed CC Group objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Provide operational input and expertise on Break Bulk and OOG opportunities
- Explore and create opportunities to increase Oceania client base and projecting ANL-CMA CGM as a preferred shipper for Project Cargo within the Oceania Region
- To develop strategies that will allow the Project Cargo division to achieve the budget set forth each year
- Develop and implementation of pricing policies for each of the Liner Trades facilitating growth in the volumes and profitability
- In conjunction with the Head of Project Cargo, identify any likely areas of threat and opportunity and develop and implement strategies to protect CC Groups market position and overall costs
- Liaise with all Line Managers to develop strategies for the division
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, International Business, Supply chain/ Logistics together with related experience
- Significant shipping and sales experience of at least 5-7years
- Extensive experience in operations / trade role in the shipping industry
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- High level of numeracy skills
- Well developed communication skills both written and oral, including presentation skills
