AddressOur client, a successful exploration and mining company is embarking on the development of a new underground mine in the goldfields of Western Australia. On their behalf, we are seeking to appoint an Experienced Senior Underground Mining Engineer.

We require a degree qualified Mining Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years underground experience, including 2+ years in a Senior capacity. You will have demonstrable experience in leading small, but highly effective technical teams and will foster a culture of excellence.
Your duties, will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading and managing a technical team involved in both the production and planning activities.
- oversee the activities of the mining contractor, ensuring their compliance with the mine plan.
- control and management of the long term, medium term and short-term planning
- Together with the Underground Manager, develop the annual budgets, and then help ensure compliance.
- If possessing a WA First Class Managers Certificate, then being available to deputise for them in their absence.
