Form of work SENIOR UNDERGROUND PRODUCTION ENGINEERFIFO FROM PERTH8:6 ROSTER We are seeking a dynamic Senior Underground Production Engineer to join our client, overseeing all technical aspects of underground mining operations. This senior position requires effective resource utilization, workforce direction, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities: Provide technical advice, planning, and methodology for underground mining operations. Reporting to the Superintendent. Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Manage mine design, ore reserves estimation, and develop production schedules. Communicate with Mining Contractor, Shift Supervisor, and technical staff for effective mine plan execution. Review and recommend mining methods, and contribute to mining strategies, priorities, and budgets. Maintain accurate records for critical mining data, ensuring adherence to operational strategies. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering. Over 7 years of underground mining operational experience. WA First-class mine manager’s certificate of competency. Advanced Surpac skills. Mine Rescue and first aid experience desirable. Key Performance Contributions: Demonstrate commitment to company values, workplace behavior, and personal development. Ensure safety, business, and production targets are achieved. Provide regular reports on mining activities and contribute to budget preparations. Internal and External Contacts: Internal: Geologists, Mine Surveyors, Mill Supervisors, OH&S Officers.
