School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
As a Senior Urban Design Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing efficient and cost-effective design management services to the State Infrastructure and Schools NSW (SINSW). Your responsibilities will encompass offering technical advice and guidance across infrastructure design issues, conducting landscape and Urban Design studies, and contributing to the development of design standardization methodologies. The role involves coordinating investigations, leading design service levels, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance learning environments.

About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design, landscape, and Urban Design best practices.
- Skilled in delivering innovative, cost-effective school asset planning solutions.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and manage design service levels, ensuring progress on time and within budget.
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Property or a related discipline and/or equivalent, relevant knowledge or experience.
- Flexibility to travel to state-wide locations.
- A current and valid driver’s licence
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the value of public education.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
