Senior Valuer -Team Leader

Accord Appraisals is an established property valuation firm for over 14 years specialising in family law, commercial litigation and mortgage valuations. We provide valuation services across four states for commercial, industrial, retail, prestige residential, development sites and specialised properties.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support and mentor a small team of valuer's in expanding their valuation expertise across various property sectors.
• Apply your advanced knowledge and experience to conduct independent reassessment of valuation reports prepared by the team 
• Lead and manage the valuations team to ensure that property valuations meet high levels of quality and compliance standards.
• Conduct training sessions and internal review meetings of the valuation team
• Liaise with the valuation team to ensure timely submission of valuation reports.
• Actively participate as a core team member to improve service levels and quality reporting.
• Show excellent time management, logistic and organisational skills.
• Work across multiple valuations to meet deadlines while managing your time efficiently.

Professional Experience and Education:

• Certified Practising Valuer (AAPI CPV)  and/or a RICS Registered Valuer
• Diversified valuation experience of 4 years or more across residential and commercial property sectors in Victoria. 
• Valuation experience in other states is preferred but not mandatory. 
• Prior experience as a Quality Assurance manager/Team leader/Valuations Manager or similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Highly organised and detail orientated, with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong professional references and track record.
