Job description

Carroll Group Aus is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Warehouse Administrator  with a strong background in general administration to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about warehousing and is eager to contribute to the success of our organisation.

About: Carroll Group Aus is an end to end solution from container cartage to warehousing then transport to the most remote areas in Australia. We are heavy involved with mining, oil and gas and construction

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director and Office Manager you will work within a supportive team, and play an integral role in building effective relationships with both our external and internal customers. Processing sales orders, transport bookings, back orders and supporting the operations team, you will be happy to assist on the warehouse floor when required.

You will be joining a team dedicated to exceeding all customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of transactions for movement of goods into and out of the warehouse with a high focus on return stock.
  • Running periodic reports on warehouse KPIs and operations.
  • Liaise with operations team regarding scheduling containers for delivery into warehouse and transport bookings for warehouse.
  • Liaise with warehouse, regarding the progress of orders, stock receipts, dispatches and general follow up.
  • Plan daily work for the warehouse team for orders, reworks, put-aways, loading, unloading etc.
  • Liaise with other stake holders, regarding time of arrivals, billing enquiries, order progress, stock enquiries etc.
  • Chase up proof of delivery (POD) and maintain correct record in the system provided.
  • Processing orders from emails. 
  • Processing and printing packing slips.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies & assisting with stock take as required.
  • Prompt reporting of inventory, paperwork, or transactional discrepancies.
  • Ensuring all orders are despatched on time.
  • Liaising with our transport team and warehouse team.
  • Liaising with our other warehouses to make sure all parties are working together
  • Manifesting orders at the end of the day.
  • Booking in transport for deliveries and inter-company transfers.

Critical Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a busy warehouse environment. 
  • WMS system knowledge essential we currently use CartonCloud.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize a busy workflow.
  • Must be able to work 5 days, 38 hours per week (No Restricted Visa Holders).
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and high- volume environment, managing many competing priorities with a focus on achieving results.
