Role Overview:
TOM Executive is pleased to partner with a leading financial services organisation to find their Wellbeing Health and Safety Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to support senior leaders, employees, and key stakeholders across the business while driving improvements in WHS practices. From managing projects that enhance WHS outcomes to delivering empathetic coaching and support, you'll play a crucial role in spearheading safety initiatives and fostering a safe work environment. This role is perfect for an experienced WHS professional who is passionate about wellbeing
Duties:
- Project manage WHS initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Manage Workers Compensation and injury management processes, promoting alignment between systems, processes and people for national safety, wellbeing, and injury management programs
- Offer advice and support to reduce WHS risks and ensure safe work execution within assigned divisions.
- Perform monitoring, reporting, and assurance activities to keep stakeholders informed about WHS compliance and performance.
Skills & Experience
- Workers Compensation and Injury Management experience
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in WHS or relevant disciplines.
- Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated knowledge of safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent skills in managing relationships, influencing stakeholders, and building credibility.
- Experience in providing empathetic coaching, advice, and support in WHS and injury management/return to work (RTW).
- Experience in project delivery and effective change management
