Benetas has an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator role, internally referred to as a Senior Workforce Coordinator (SWFC). This role would be suited to an individual whom is highly organised, has proficient communication skills and great time management. The main focus of this role is to manage the Workforce Team, who coordinate rosters for staff, within their hours and regions, with the scheduling of visits for clients. You will be based in our Gisborne office and reporting to the Operations Team Leader within the Rural North West Community Health and Care team.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Work with the Workforce Coordinators (WFCs) and Senior In-Home Service Assistant (IHSA) to deliver optimised rosters that meet the needs of our IHSA’s and clients
- Promote a positive culture that builds effective and strong professional relationships within the team and across the organisation, and that motivates team members to achieve internal targets and goals
- Support the WFCs with the oversight of IHSA recruitment and onboarding to ensure our IHSA’s have a great employee experience
- Contributes to delivery of services within regional budget and working within financial delegations
- Assist with rostering and service coordination as required
- Ensure staff are supported in their role
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Attention to detail is a must when providing consistent, efficient and accurate scheduling
- Experience in rostering/ Scheduling
- High level of computer literacy, preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience liaising with people from diverse backgrounds and positions
- Ability to prioritise, problem solve and use initiative
- Ability to manage a remote workforce, experience preferred
- Relevant experience in a similar role (scheduling in an aged care setting or community health setting) would be an advantage
