About the Role
An exciting opportunity is
available to join the Power Systems team, located at
Wingfield. Reporting to the Manager Commercial Engines, you
will be responsible for coordinating all customer transactions for
the Power Systems business unit.
Key responsibilities of
this role:
Scheduling all customer work and raising work orders
Ensuring purchase orders or payments are received for all
works
Run daily pre-start meetings and allocate jobs per staff
member
Advise staff of work job times and track efficiency and
costing of all jobs
Assisting in processing and checking off daily time
entry and checking for My Safety Plan on all jobs
Attending to customer enquiries, phone bookings and
walk-ins
Proactive in customer follow up and service work
Preparing order estimates and repair quotes
Organising and ordering parts and scheduling delivery of
parts
Invoicing of service work with set budgets per month
Calling any customer with service/repair work requests
Safety and quality focused for all tasks
Promote a continuous improvement culture
Manage warranty repairs as per Caterpillar
requirements
About you
Qualification in Diesel or light vehicle trade
Previous or current experience as a Service Advisor
Full understanding that the needs of our customers come
first
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of DBS, SIS, SIMSi, desired
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical components
for Power Generation, Industrial and Marine engines,
desired
Current and valid driver’s licence
