Electrical Service Technician
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team based in SA. Reporting to the SA Service Supervisor, the primary function of this role is the Service and Installation of car and truck wash systems and associated equipment such as water filters, pumps, conveyors, reverse osmosis units, ozone generators, water softeners, water recycling systems, high-pressure pump units, vacuums, automatic tunnel wash systems, automatic brush washes, high-pressure wash systems and self-serve wash bays.
The role will primarily be based in SA, but occasional interstate travel will be required. Participation in the weekend on-call roster is a requirement of the role.
About you:
You will have previous mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience with exposure within a service role. You are an enthusiastic go-getter with a can-do attitude that works well as part of a team or as an individual. You are comfortable interfacing with end-user customers and operators at all levels.
Applicant / Job Requirements
• Electrical or Fitting trade qualifications
• Current manual driver's license
• EWP license (Desirable - not essential)
• Current forklift license (Desirable - not essential)
• Previous experience working with vehicle wash equipment (Desirable - not essential)
• Strong customer focus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised, independently or in a group
• Ability to plan and manage service works
• Strong commitment to safety
• Sound electrical knowledge and understanding
• Full A grade Electrical License at a minimum
• Post-trade qualifications in hydraulics and pneumatics (Desirable - not essential)
