Service Consultant

As a leading provider of Heating, Ventilation and Cooling solutions to commercial and industrial clients, our client has a reputation for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction. With an established business, they continue to grow and expand their operations, and now seek a dedicated Service Coordinator to help maintain their high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This is a pivotal role for the business within the service department, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between field technicians and clients.

Key priorities for this role include:

• Managing the accurate and timely processing of job cards
• Collaborating with technicians to track project costs, providing insights into project profitability and resource allocation.
• Generating invoices promptly and accurately based on completed work orders.
• Assisting in preparing, submitting and following up quotes to clients, following up as needed to secure project approvals and commitments.
• Overseeing the collection and processing of time cards from field technicians
• Coordinating with procurement teams to purchase necessary parts and materials for ongoing projects, following up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
• Scheduling and coordinating job bookings, in line with account technician availability, client preferences, and project timelines.
• Monitoring and responding to incoming emails and telephone calls promptly, providing assistance to clients, technicians, and other stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in using simPRO software preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with job costing and invoicing processes desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the HVAC industry is a plus.
