About us

Zonta House Refuge Association (Zonta House) is a specialist provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services. Our purpose, values and services have been informed through 40 years of experience, the needs of women in our community and research in leading practice.

Zonta House provides a suite of services for women experiencing FDV that reinforce one another and represent the core of Zonta House’s work. That is, when the voices of women are heard, our responses uphold dignity, builds on safety, and challenges the drivers of abuse. Victim/Survivors of FDV are able to access responsive and person-centred support based on their needs to build a future free from abuse.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of services to our clients. The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading the operations of Zonta House’s Refuges and Outreach programs and ensuring a high standard of service is provided to the women in our service. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for the daily management and supervision of a Leadership team.

This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract until June 2025, with the possibility of an extension. This role will be based in Willetton with some travelling required across the Perth Metropolitan.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor the provision of Service Delivery, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, budgets and legislation, and advise the Operations Manager of any variance, risk and change management requirements. Ensuring good practice is adhered to.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Team Leaders, supporting the implementation of effective decision-making, risk management processes and effective monitoring of risk in line with procedures across all programs and projects.
  • Provide leadership mentoring, coaching and regular individual supervision to the Team Leaders.
  • Keep informed about development in the sector and actively network with external key stakeholders to build effective partnerships.

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, community service, or related field
  2. Experience in developing systems and protocols for conflict and dispute management, along with active involvement in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  3. Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of excellence in Service Delivery and monitor contractual obligations.
  4. Proficiency in managing risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and supporting diverse teams to value and work effectively with client/staff diversity.
  5. Commitment to social justice and inclusion, along with the ability to articulate clear and persuasive messages during advocacy or negotiation processes.
  6. Capability to motivate others, mentor emerging leaders, and develop team plans with clear targets and strategic goals.
  7. Knowledge in implementing systems to address adverse events and proactive approaches to problem-solving.
  8. Ability to manage work practices for staff health and compliance with WHS and relevant legislation.
  9. Tertiary qualifications in team leadership and/or management. desirable
  10. Expertise in preparing program budgets and conducting financial performance reviews. desirable

The successful candidate will need to possess:

  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Working with Children Card
  • WA driver's license with good driving records
