Supporting those living with neurological conditions (including MS, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Acquired Brain Injury and Stroke), MSWA provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) funded high support accommodation for our clients.
Our accommodation facilities operate 24/7 and offer an age-appropriate option for younger people where living at home may no longer be safe or practical. These are designed to feel more like a home by being located within a suburban environment and integrating with the local community. Each site has a small number of individual self-contained units offering privacy and a shared communal area to foster social interaction with fellow residents, visitors and MSWA employees.
In addition, MSWA offers two purpose-built respite homes, where our clients and their families can take a break safely and comfortably.
Our sites include:
Butler: 10 one-bedroom units.
City Beach Respite: 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house.
Hamilton Hill: 6 units with facilities for 10 residents.
Fern River (Wilson): 2 houses with a total of 11-bedroom units.
Albany: 10 one-bedroom units.
Treendale Gardens (Australind): 11 one-bedroom units.
Treendale Gardens Respite: 6 bedroom, 3-bathroom house.
In this role, you will play an important part in the delivery of quality care. This will include identifying improvements for Service Delivery, supporting our residential managers with employee engagement and achieving KPIs, developing new processes and procedures, providing advice and support in relation to NDIS/SIL funding, ensuring MSWA is meeting quality standards and meeting compliance requirements, as well as enhancing the sustainability of our residential services.
Our key ‘must haves:’
Tertiary qualification is a relevant discipline.
Relevant experience with and knowledge of NDIS residential programs (including SIL and STA.)
Experience in overseeing a diverse team and excellent great people management skills.
Competency in budget planning and NDIS funding levels and expectations.
C Class driving licence.
