About the role
An exciting opportunity for a skilled IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, resolving IT-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Document technical procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in an IT helpdesk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
