Senior Service Desk Officer

Onsite
- Provide ICT support to end users and procure ICT hardware and software based on business requirements.
- Deploy and decommission ICT solutions, including end-user training and liaising with vendors.
- Provide coaching and training to team members and end users, document procedures, and suggest process improvements.
- Manage hardware and software escalations with vendors and internal stakeholders until resolution.
- Manage the Service Desk systems, including configuration changes, upgrades, and testing.
- Experience providing end-user IT technical support with customer service responsibilities.
- Experience in procuring ICT hardware and software as the SME or technical expert.
- Experience working in an ITIL work environment.
- Good understanding of Windows 10, MS Office, and other common applications
- Experience installing and configuring computer and network equipment
$52 per hour
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide support for end-user device hardware, printers, desktops, laptops, and more across various locations.
- Utilize a ticketing system to log and respond to Service Desk queries promptly.
- Provide first and second-level Windows software support and troubleshooting.
- Manage hardware and software escalations with vendors.
- Offer first-level support for network and telephony environments.
- Assist with end-user device and venue ICT setup, configuration, and support during major events.
- Deploy and test software solutions, creating and updating user and technical guides.
- Maintain asset databases to ensure accurate records.
- Previous NSW Government experience highly regarded
- Experience within the IT industry
- Good understanding of Windows 10, MS Office, and common applications
- Experience installing and configuring computer and network equipment
