Job Title: Service Desk Support
Location: SYDNEY, CBD
Position Overview: As a Service Desk Support, you will play a critical role in providing responsive and effective technical support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth functioning of our business applications and IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for local helpdesk requests, analysing and resolving issues where possible, and escalating as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to Service Desk requests for incidents and Service Requests, delivering exceptional customer service and communication to internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for our business applications, troubleshooting issues and ensuring efficient operation.
- Analyse and resolve local helpdesk requests, escalating complex issues as required.
- Coordinate the maintenance of IT equipment including workstations, phones, printers, etc.
- Create and maintain user accounts for Active Directory, Exchange, IRESS, Office365, and other financial systems.
- Assist in replacing, upgrading, and maintaining equipment and the on-premise computing environment as needed.
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred.
- Similar experience in the finance industry highly regarded.
- Exposure to or knowledge of Microsoft Server Products, Desktop products, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
