About the Role
Do you have excellent organisational skills and a willingness to contribute to a positive culture across all our workplaces? MatchWorks is looking for a Service Development and Project Trainer for our Sydney - South West region! As the Service Development and Projects Trainer you will deliver accredited and non-accredited training to job seekers to assist them to find on-going sustainable employment and provide them with the skills and confidence to market themselves to employers.
To achieve this, you will:

  • Assist with the Development and implementation of various training projects that continuously improve content delivery and outcomes for job seekers
  • Provide Career Guidance utilising a range of career development tools and skills inventories
  • Facilitate programs and workshops to job seekers, which may include a variety of accredited courses
About You
EXPERIENCE and/or SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
  • Sound computer skills and data management abilities
  • Ability to document and evaluate program results
  • Ability to develop training curriculum and present training packages to job seekers from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including industry, business, government departments and educational institutions
  • Flexibility to deliver programs at various (including interstate) site based on business priorities/needs
  • Ability to build rapport with and engage participants during program delivery
  • Fulfils inherent requirements of position as described above, including: physical requirements, role challenges and essential requirements
  • Must be willing to travel across all Matchworks sites base in Sydney - South West
DESIRABLE
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Careers Development Qualification endorsed by Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA)
  • Sound experience working in Labour Market Programs aimed at employment outcomes for job seekers
  • Broad industry and labour market knowledge and future of work
  • Ability to assess individual needs of job seekers
