About Us: 

In & Outboard Marine is a leading modern Yamaha Marine Dealership in Darwin NT. Servicing, Sales, Spare Parts and fitting of: Yamaha Outboards and marine electronics to associated boat brands including Quintrex, Bar Crusher and Stabicraft. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. If you have a proven track record in Managing Service Operations in either Automotive, Motorcycle, Marine or Electrical we want to hear from you.

About the role: 

Reporting to the dealer principals, the successful applicant will be a part of a vibrant, busy environment and will receive an extended handover with the existing the Service Manager who is retiring.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage and mentor service technicians and support staff to maintain a motivated and productive team.
• Develop and implement service strategies to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals.
• Monitor and maintain service department budgets and financial performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally with a positive, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
• Develop and oversee apprentice program to build a pipeline of future Technicians.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of automotive service management experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in dealership management software.
• Knowledge of automotive service procedures and technical aspects.
